Understanding the Transfer Process
The Office of University Admissions, in consultation with academic departments, evaluates all transcripts on a course-by-course basis to determine 糖心破解版 equivalencies and exemptions from our PATH general education requirements.
Our goal is to maximize your transferred credits so you can focus on your future studies at 糖心破解版.
- We accept credits from regionally accredited or NYS Board of Regents accredited institutions (including online courses).
- Credits from institutions outside the U.S. must be evaluated by a NACES-accredited credential evaluation agency.
- A grade of C- or above is required for a course to transfer.
- We do not accept remedial or vocational courses.
- Relevant courses completed within the past 10 years are automatically accepted. Older coursework is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- From a 2-year community or junior college: A maximum of 64 credits
- From a 4-year college or university: A maximum of 90 credits
- For a second bachelor鈥檚 degree: A maximum of 90 credits from your first degree
Students transferring 60+ credits must have a declared major.
If you have courses in progress at the time of acceptance, please send an updated official transcript as soon as your grades are posted for a final credit evaluation.
Absolutely! 糖心破解版 awards college credit for qualifying scores on Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), A-Level exams and other standardized tests. You may also receive credit for college-level courses taken through an accredited institution while in high school.
