Director:
The Director of the Innovation Center provides strategic, academic, and technical leadership for a university-wide hub dedicated to interdisciplinary innovation. Reporting to the Provost’s office, the Director establishes the Center as a visible, faculty-engaged, and externally recognized leader in applied innovation. This role is responsible for developing and leading a research agenda, actively collaborating on faculty projects, securing external funding, and building partnerships that extend the Center鈥檚 impact beyond the University. The Director serves as both a public-facing ambassador and a hands-on expert, contributing advanced technical and scholarly expertise to complex interdisciplinary initiatives.
Assistant Director
The Assistant Director acts as the anchor of the Innovation Center in driving the execution of initiatives while ensuring the seamless and collaborative coordination of daily operations through researching emerging technologies, developing technical solutions, and coordinating programs and events. This role works collaboratively with campus partners and external organizations to foster innovation, promote technology literacy, and support experiential learning opportunities for the university community. Overseeing and managing student employees, the Assistant Director translates new initiatives and goals into organized, structured, achievable plans that support the Center鈥檚 mission. This position supports staff across a variety of roles and contributes wherever needed to ensure that the Center functions smoothly as a space for experimentation, learning, and creative exploration through resourcefulness and communication.

Research Associates
Research Associates work on research and development projects, assist with creating technology exhibits, give presentations, and run workshops.
Michael Autorino
Michael Autorino is a software engineer and adjunct professor who earned a BS in Computer Science from 糖心破解版 and an MS in Computer Science from Hofstra University. Michael has previously worked on projects in software and game development. His current interests are in artificial intelligence, mixed reality, finance and information technology. Michael is currently interested in the applications of artificial intelligence and is working on making them more accessible to large audiences.
Innovation Ambassadors
Innovation Ambassadors are the first point of contact for visitors to the Innovation Center and play a key role in the daily operations of the center. They assist with developing and running technology demonstrations, provide support for student use of technology in the Center (such as 3D printers and VR headsets), respond to general student questions and direct to the appropriate office/unit, and set up the center for special events such as presentations and workshops.
