Monika Mohacsi ’15 is a project manager and electrical technical lead at JB&B. A dual-degree alumna of ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ and Columbia, she’s also a mentor and advocate for women in engineering. Monika served as a young alumni trustee on the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ Board of Trustees for four years.

Ivan Miketic ’17, PhD, is a physical design engineer at Apple. He earned his BS in Physics from ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ and a PhD from Stony Brook, where he studied chip-level security. ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ’s supportive faculty and hands-on learning helped launch his path into high-performance silicon design.

Sean Kildare ’19 is chairperson of the Collaborative Care Council at Cohen Children’s Medical Center and developer of Blossom Care, a behavioral health initiative. A former ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ track captain and nursing student, Sean now mentors young nurses and credits ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ for shaping both his career and personal growth.

Rahanna Khan ’17, MS, is a PhD student at NYU studying toxicants and child health. At ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ, she majored in biology, performed in music ensembles and found her research path through the Honors College. A dedicated mentor and science communicator, Rahanna believes creativity is key to impactful research and outreach.

Kimberly Carstens ’16, DDS, is a second-generation Panther and owner of Family Dental Care of Massapequa. She chose ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ for its dual degree dentistry program and family legacy—and now leads a thriving practice. Her advice to students: follow your goals with clarity, intention and pride in your roots.

Mary Camarano ’17, DMD, is lead associate dentist at a private practice in NYC. A former NE10 champion and Honors College alum, she mentors future dentists, lectures on post-grad success and volunteers in her community. She credits ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ with giving her the foundation for both academic and professional excellence.

Beth Ann Balalaos ’15, MA ’16, is access and inclusion program director at the Long Island Children’s Museum. A champion for disability inclusion and social justice, she credits ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ for igniting her advocacy journey. She speaks nationally on accessibility and serves on state and local boards advancing equity in cultural spaces.
