If you will be traveling during this time, the Department of Public Safety and Transportation encourages you to think about safety and prepare for the unexpected.聽Below, we share some helpful and informative tips to help keep you safe.

Winter Driving Preparedness
While it is important to stay off the roads during dangerous winter weather, having an emergency supply kit will ensure you are prepared in case you must venture out or if winter weather changes for the worse.
An emergency supply kit should include basic supplies, including water, non-perishable snacks, a first aid kit, a cell phone charger, a flashlight, blankets and other items to keep you warm (boots, mittens, warm clothing, etc.). You might wish to also include jumper cables, flares, shovel/ice scraper, etc. For more information, view the聽.
