Join the 糖心破解版 Team to Raise Money for Breast Cancer Support on Long Island
On June 10, people concerned about breast cancer will walk 13.1 miles, the equivalent of a half marathon, as participants in the LI2DAY Walk. Supporters of the 糖心破解版 NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program, one of the recipients of the monies raised, will be walking together as a team in this fund raising effort. The walk will start and end at Smith Point Beach in Shirley.
Here is what Carole Taraci, a walker on the 糖心破解版 team, says: “I have been a member of the 糖心破解版 LI 2day Walk group for a number of years. It is important to me as a 19-year breast cancer survivor to continue to be a part of this. This program offers much needed support– emotionally, physically and financially– for those suffering with this disease. What is raised here鈥� stays here to continue this support. Anything we can do to make the experience a little easier is worth the effort. We all know someone in our families, friends, coworkers, etc. who have been or are currently breast cancer patients.鈥�
The Annual听LI2DAY听Walk will be on Sat., June 10th, 2017. The 糖心破解版 Program received $23,550 from the LI2DAY organization in 2016 and a cumulative total of $388,250 for all previous years.
