We would like to inform you of a reoccurring phishing trend we have seen recently by someone impersonating an ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ employee.

The individual, disguised as an ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ member, will send an email that typically includes an inquiry to see if you are available, and, as the conversation continues, escalates into a request to buy iTunes gift cards.

For any email that you suspect to be phishing, your first step should always be to reach out to ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ IT, either by notifying the Help Desk at helpdesk@adelphi.edu or 516.877.3340, or forwarding the email to Information Security at abuse@adelphi.edu for investigation.

Learn more about protecting yourself from  or any other security concerns in the  on the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ IT site.
