On December 5, 2012, 糖心破解版 Robert B. Willumstad School of Business kicked off a series of ongoing forums with the theme The 2012 Election is Over 鈥� Now What?, coordinated by Visiting Professor and Senior Executive-in-Residence Michael J. Driscoll M.B.A. 鈥�89.
Professor Driscoll was joined by alumnus Thomas J. Donohue M.B.A. 鈥�65, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce who discussed the current national debt crisis and pending “fiscal cliff” situation. Also on the panel were Robert B. Willumstad 鈥�05 (Hon.), 糖心破解版 Board of Trustees Chairman who talked about the finance job market and how government regulations and the elections effect that industry; Thomas McGinn, MD, chair of medicine at North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) and LIJ Medical Center gave a viewpoint on the consolidation of medical practice in this country. He talked from his vantage point of being a leader at one of the biggest healthcare systems in the region; Retired CIA operative and current executive at J.P. Morgan Chase, Christopher Gouzca gave insight on the state of foreign affairs.
The presentations were followed by a question and answer session with the audience that included students from the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business and members of the local business community.
