Internships
Put your classroom learning to work鈥攁nd further your knowledge鈥攊n internships at local healthcare organizations, schools, and social service providers. It鈥檚 a great way to gain experience or prepare for graduate study.
Independent Study
If you develop an interest in a subject that isn鈥檛 available in regular course offerings, or if you want to delve even deeper into a topic you鈥檝e learned about, you can create your own independent study project as a junior or senior.
Emerging Scholars Program
The Emerging Scholars Program is a selective, year long program for junior and senior psychology majors interested in conducting original research and pursuing an advanced degree. Students in the program also attend a monthly seminar with others in the program to discuss important topics like ethics, data analysis and graduate school admissions.
