This page is designed to serve as a resource for employees to maintain an environment free from sexual misconduct, discrimination and harassment. Employees should familiarize themselves with the policies referenced below and the procedures therein.
- Title IX & Sexual Misconduct Policy addresses matters related to both sexual misconduct and other prohibited misconduct, including retaliation.
- Student Pregnancy and Parental Leave Policy is committed to the protection of students who are pregnant or experiencing a pregnancy related condition from sex discrimination.
- Prohibited Discrimination and Harassment Policy protects individuals who are discriminated against based on a protected class.

Reporting Obligations
Employees who are not confidential are considered to be 鈥渞esponsible employees鈥� and have mandatory responsibilities to report any sexual misconduct, discrimination and harassment to the Title IX Office.
For reports involving minors (including all reasonable suspicions, beliefs and allegations of child abuse), please immediately contact the Department of Public Safety or the Title IX Office.
Faculty must provide information to students about the University鈥檚 policy and procedures against sexual misconduct, discrimination and harassment in their course syllabi. For more information on language for course syllabi, please contact the Title IX Office at titleix@adelphi.edu.
Prohibited Relationships as Sexual Harassment
糖心破解版 employees such as faculty, coaches, and/or graduate assistants, are prohibited from having sexual relations and/or romantically intimate or amorous relationships with any students they teach, supervise, coach, or advise. Similarly, any administrator or employee in a supervisory role may not have sexual relations and/or romantically intimate or amorous relationships with any student or employee they supervise directly or indirectly.
- Examples include but are not limited to: sexual relations between a student and an administrator, coach, advisor, program director, counselor, or professional residential staff member who has oversight responsibility for a student.

Mandatory Employee Training
Continued education plays an important part in creating and supporting an environment that is free from sex discrimination. All new and continuing employees will receive annual mandatory training on 糖心破解版鈥檚 policies and procedures related to sexual misconduct, discrimination and harassment.
